Keep your greenhouse at the right temperature without lifting a finger. This solar powered auto vent opener senses the heat inside your greenhouse and gently opens the roof vent as things warm up, then closes it again as temperatures drop overnight. No power, batteries, or wiring required, just simple science doing the work for you.

Inside the opener is a sealed metal cylinder filled with a heat-sensitive mineral. As the greenhouse warms, the mineral expands and pushes a piston that gradually opens the vent. When it cools, the mineral contracts and a spring resets the piston, easing the vent shut. Because the movement is gradual, your plants get just the right amount of airflow, not a sudden blast of cold air.
