Extra Timber Base — Timber Base Tunnel Houses & Shade Houses
⚠️ Please note: This add-on is only compatible with timber base tunnel houses and shade houses. It is not suitable for aluminium framed structures. If you have an aluminium framed tunnel house or shade house, please do not add this to your cart.
Add extra height to your timber base structure with an additional tanalised timber base rail. Adds +100mm of height to your existing base, giving a total base height of 200mm x 50mm (8x2).
A higher base provides more headroom inside the structure and creates extra garden bed depth on your existing ground — ideal for raised bed growing or sloped sites.
Please note: Additional base timber does incur an extra freight charge.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping within our beautiful country of Aotearoa New Zealand is a simple flat rate of $249.
We trust Mainfreight for our shipping and as our items are often very heavy, depending on the item you will be required to uplift your item from your nearest Mainfreight depot with a car & trailer.
If you'd like shipping direct to your door then please get in touch using our online contact form and we can get that shipping price to you asap.
